Guía de campo del Sistema Central
El día 25 de mayo a las 18h, se presenta en el Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid el libro Guía de Campo del SIstema Central, obra de nuestro nuevo compañero Modesto Luceño en colaboración con Pablo Vargas y Bernardo García. Según los autores, en el libro se abordan hongos, animales y, especialmente, plantas de la Cordillera Central, entre las que se incluyen más de 150 musgos y hepáticas (aproximadamente el 40% de la brioflora carpetana y casi el 90% de las especies que habitan en el alto Sistema Central). Los briófitos están tratados en sus correspondientes hábitats y generalmente ilustrados con fotografías que incluyen detalles de caracteres diagnósticos.

Field guide to the Spanish Central Range
On may 25th at 18h at the Royal Botanic Garden of Madrid, the Field guide to the Spanish Central Range (in Spanish) will be presented. The book, authored by our new fellow Modesto Luceño, together with Pablo Vargas and Bernardo García, covers fungi, animals and mostly plants from this montain range, According to the authors, more than 150 mosses and liverworts are included, meaning a 40% of the bryophyte flora of the area and almost 90% of the species living in the high montain areas. Bryophytes are teated by habitats and generally illustrated in detail with pictures showing diagnostic characters.
